Please find our commission and pricing tiers below, the commission you pick will then set the prices across your entire product range on Fy!

Our mission at Fy! is to bring affordable art prints into peoples homes, it's important to us that customers can rely on our good value and that we stay in line with competitors. You'll see higher sales if you price your prints reasonably and we would recommend not going higher than 20%.

However, we understand that sometimes your pricing doesn't align with ours and therefore we've introduced a higher tier.

Please note: The commission is calculated on the cost price of the unframed print ex VAT, packaging and shipping.

Confirming your commission with us

If you're ready to start selling with us you can sign up using the link sent to you via email, please let your Fy! buyer know which commission model you've picked so they can adjust your prices accordingly. Please note, if your page goes live over the weekend the prices won't be updated until Monday.

If at any point you would like to change your commission please email artist-help@iamfy.co and let them know which model you would like. This will be updated for you at the end of the working month.

Can you tell me more about your pricing?

Our tech team are constantly checking our prices to ensure you are getting the best price for your collection. This means our prices are not static, we consider factors such as production costs, shipping costs, market rate and customer location. This means if it costs more for us to ship in a particular country, we will raise the prices in this country so that this is covered. You can find an average breakdown below:

When do I get paid for my sales?

We pay once a month for all sales made in the preceding month, we pay via a payment provider called Tipalti and they will be in contact with you when your first invoice is ready to register your details. Please don't worry if you haven't heard from them before this date, you'll be emailed the month after you've been live to register.

Commission breakdown

Commissions are calculated as the commission rate multiplied by the price paid by the customer for the print (unframed), minus tax, shipping and packaging.

Please note that we price items differently depending on where the customer is located, and prices can vary substantially between countries due to e.g. manufacturing and shipping cost differences.  The commission due is calculated when the order is placed, in the currency of that order; we then apply current market FX rates to convert your total commission due into your account currency.  We do not charge conversion fees.

Also note that we offer a variety of discounts to users (e.g. for their first order), therefore the price paid is often lower than the advertised retail or sales price.  Finally, our pricing changes regularly in response to changes in manufacturing costs and demand, therefore the price you see on the site today may not have been the price when an item was sold.

Commission example

A customer buys a 24x32 framed print in the US, the artist is on a 10% commission agreement and is paid in GBP:

The customer pays $168 excl. tax, for two items:

Unframed print: $81

Framing: $87

We subtract the shipping and packaging cost of the unframed print to get the net sales price:

Shipping cost: $12

Packaging cost: $2

Net sales price = $67

Then multiply that by the commission rate (10% in this case): $6.70

Convert to GBP: £6.16
